Hiring: Position: Survey Assistant, Casual Position Overview: TITAN Land Surveying Ltd. is seeking a Survey Assistant to join our team. The position would be based out of Beaumont, Alberta. This would be a causal position with the potential to become full time. All work would be in the Edmonton Region and/or surrounding municipalities. ... Responsibilities: Assisting Crew Chief in Land Survey Projects Organizing, Cleaning and Maintaining Survey Equipment and Truck Setting up and Operation of Survey Equipment Assist in Preparing Field Notes and Sketches Searching, Digging and Placing Survey Posts Carrying Equipment, Materials and Tools Other Duties as Required Requirements: Grade 12 High School Diploma Required Graduate in a Geomatics Technology Program or related disciplines considered an asset Previous legal survey experience considered an asset Must have a valid Class 5 driving license and good driving record Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and out of town on occasion Eagerness and willingness to learn Strong work ethic Physically fit and willing to work outside in all weather conditions Works well in a team environment and attention to detail Excellent communication/interpersonal skills Standard First Aid/CPR Thank you to all applicants; only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
