We are happy to announce that our office has re-opened! At this time, the Nova Scotia Dental Association is only permitting emergency treatment. Any elective treatment must be deferred until after June 19th. Also note that hygiene cleaning appointments are not permitted until further notice, this includes previously booked appointments. If you require an appointment, please call our office and leave a message and we will book you as soon as possible. We are dedicated to following the Nova Scotia regulations and are working hard to keep everyone safe and healthy. Please bear with us as we re-book months of cancelled appointments and emergency calls. We appreciate your patience and cooperation and look forward to seeing your smiles!

The government of Nova Scotia has CLOSED all dental practices in NS to help contain the spread of COVID-19. Everyone here at TLC Dentistry appreciates your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. We need to work together to flatten that curve! Here's what you need to know...... Management of dental emergencies will be done by phone consultation to the best of our abilities and based on what is permitted according to the new regulations. If you feel you have a dental emergency, call or text us at 902-759-5470. Patients with emergencies requiring treatment will be redirected to one of three central dental treatment sites in the province. Please know that we will keep you up to date with any changes. EMERGENCY -- 35 dogs need your help Today, SPCA Enforcement Officers spent 4 hours rescuing 35 dogs from a puppy mill. One of the largest dog seizures in N...ova Scotia -- ever. You can imagine life in a puppy mill. The animals are withdrawn and broken, dirty and scared. Although our resources are stretched, we couldn’t leave the dogs for winter. We put up emergency infrastructure and are providing vet treatment, extensive care, and food for many hungry bellies. Because of their emotional trauma and medical needs, we estimate it will cost $20 a day, per dog on their long road to recovery. Will you be their hero?
