A couple of charcuterie river boards I recently made. What do you guys think? I’ve been making these for a couple months now but didn’t share until I made a few, and was comfortable with using the product. I use an epoxy resin with metallic pigments added to give the unique look. #charcuterieboards#epoxyresin#woodworking#woodworker. I buy my resin from @rustydesigncanada their customer service is great! And shipping is always on time and right to my door

We had to join in on the charcuterie/cheese board fun! There were so many impressive boards, but we’d like to show you that you can make a beautiful spread on a small board. I have used our small cutting boards to create savoury and sweet options. I would be proud to bring this to a gathering, and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing with my special someone. We hope you enjoy the pics as much as we enjoyed creating

This custom harvest dining table and bench is made from local Black ash that I got milled three years ago at Rugby Lake Cedar Works. The table top is 1 3/4 thick with breadboard ends that are joined by using mortise and floating tenon joinery. The tops are finished with Minwax Espresso stain and the bases were stained and painted with a white wash to give it a distressed look. Three coats of a wipe on poly was then used to give it good protection. . . #diningtable#solidwood#custom#handmade#woodworking#woodworker#wood#bench#local#localwood#shoplocal#ontario#madeincanada#hardwood#rustic#rusticfurniture#furniture#oneofakind#minwax#espresso#harvesttable#farmtable#ash#niceash

I built this custom table for the breakfast nook in our rental property. It was a 3 thick red pine that I laminated together. I filled the natural cracks and beetle holes with epoxy and black pigment. I also built benches that open up for more storage. The lovely @cparker1012 upholstered the bench tops. The metal legs were purchased from @rustydesigncanada #custom#woodworking#woodworker#carpentry#local#localwood#pine#breakfast @ Dryden, Ontario

Happy New Year! Wishing everyone an awesome 2020. This is a long over due post but an exciting one nevertheless. Cherie and I purchased our first rental property in March of 2019 and basically took everything down to the studs in this early 1960’s home. Luckily we didn’t run into any major issues and were able to renovate within our budget and have it ready for our tenant to move in just in 6 weeks. We couldn’t have done it without our good friend Hermann and all the family and friends that came and helped, Cherie and I both greatly appreciate it. Here are some before and after pics of the house. #renovation#rentalproperty#incomeproperty#bungalow#fixerupper
