Great meeting on Monday! The Theme of YELLOW didn't manage to inspire our government to let us go back to the yellow phase of COVID recovery...but we plan to achieve it for next meeting! We had two speakers with humorous stories and take-away lessons --surprisingly both based in Vancouver! Imaginative Table Topics by Rema, and insightful evaluation by Vincent. Toastmaster of the Evening, Rachele Hachey, President, did an excellent job, especially as she joined us by phone and couldn't see the zoom screens. We even had a special guest to match our theme! Well done all! See you on February 8th!!

Happy Toastmaster's Anniversary! Our club celebrates every year, together with our own club anniversary...and we did that for #47 tonight!! We were honoured to have one of our long time members, Ann McCosh join us to help celebrate our passion, which is Toastmasters! Awards presented and all around appreciation for everything our members (and their spouses) do to keep our club alive and well!!

Great meeting tonight! We played "Pass the Gavel" to give out roles in our poorly attended meeting on this Holiday Monday. Everyone rose to the occasion and met expectations! IPP Rachele assigned Linda as TMOE and Von gave an amazing impromptu speech to match the title given to him "Travelling Toastmaster". It really came together well with all levels of experience working through the theme of CHAOS and producing one of the most enjoyable and successful meetings ever!
