Forgiveness. The start of healing - the release of fear & hatred.

Title: Let’s Light the World with Love Message: Forgiveness ends the dream of conflict here.... Conflict must be resolved. It cannot be evaded, set aside, denied, disguised, seen somewhere else, called by another name, or hidden by deceit of any kind, if it would be escaped. It must be seen exactly as it is, where it is thought to be, in the reality which has been given it, and with the purpose that the mind accorded it. For only then are its defenses lifted, and the truth can shine upon it as it disappears. Father, forgiveness is the light You chose to shine away all conflict and all doubt, and light the way for our return to You. No light but this can end our evil dream. No light but this can save the world. For this alone will never fail in anything, being Your gift to Your beloved Son. (W-pII.333) The perception of conflict comes from our own mind. It comes with accepting a self-identity that is separate from the world. From this separation conflict seems real. To be free of conflict and experience the joy and peace of God, we need to let go of this false identity which we attach to the body. We are not a body. We are not an identity separate from God. Our attachment to a false identity darkens our world, for it hides the Light of Love from our awareness. Separation cannot exist in Love, where conflict is impossible because there are no differences. God has given us His Voice to guide us out of this dream of a separate self. Our only meaningful use of time is to be mindful of our perceptions of conflict and be willing to let them go. As we take these dark thoughts to the Holy Spirit to let Him shine His Light on them, we learn they are based on illusion. The Light of Love dispels them. We see clearly with Holy Spirit’s vision that there is no conflict in truth. We rest in peace with the certainty that God’s changeless Love is ours. Having accepted this Love as ours, we freely extend it to our brothers, for that is Love’s nature. Let’s join together in mindfulness of our thoughts of conflict with dedication to let the Holy Spirit’s Light of Love dispel them.
