What an amazing few days it’s been collecting toys for The Great Nanaimo Toy Drive ! This is my first year helping out behind the scenes and as part of the board, and I just want to thank the other board members who work tirelessly for this amazing cause. The amount of work that goes on behind the scenes is staggering, especially during a pandemic! We’ve had some amazing donations by companies and individuals! Although the year has been a rocky road, our community has ...stepped up BIG TIME!!! The donations have been amazing this year! Thank you Nanaimo! Country Grocer City of Nanaimo Local Government SVI Rail Link Coastal Community Credit Union Are just some of the organizations that I’ve worked with on toy donations over the last couple of days, and I’ll be giving some shout outs to individuals in the coming days! So many other organizations have stepped up and you are all appreciated beyond belief! Way to go Nanaimo! #proudtobeapartofit
