Oriole all healed up! Can’t wait to add the wild rice brush painting on. Wild rice is an important native plant that was a staple for indigenous peoples. It has been decimated by the impacts of damming and cottaging/motor boats. It is successfully being reintroduced in some areas, I hope it can reestablish itself!

Wellington County has green by-laws regarding protection for trees abut is not enforcing them. An official from the office said that they are to make the County look Green, but they are never enforced and nobody cares. Please help me let them know we do care!
