Well, this is one post that I think we were avoiding because we don't want it to happen!!! We have to say goodbye to Ms. Vaughan as she has officially graduated and is now a teacher with a real job!!! Congrats from your family here at Tompkins School. We will miss you around here. It won't seem the same! We will save your seat in the staffroom if you want to come visit!! Good luck!

Merry Christmas from Tompkins School! I didn't get to give my thank you speech this year at our Christmas Concert this year so... It was definitely a different year for sure, but we wanted to make sure that the school Christmas experience was still somewhat the same. It is a pretty big deal here at Tompkins School!! It was still a wonderful and exciting holiday season and the students are the biggest reason! They are always so excited and hardworking to join in on creating a... magical Christmas! This year it just got turned into a magical movie!! It was so much fun to share it with them yesterday and let them watch themselves on the screen! Great work!!! I have to say a huge thank you to my staff. I couldn't have done this without you all. They were willing to, once again, learn new skill sets in technology to make this work. The effort for this concert to go ahead was second to none! Man, you all stepped up, joined in the craziness, and made it work. I am truly blessed to work with the best people!! When I dropped off the Teddy Bears at Canadian Tire yesterday the people working there were so thankful! I was told that they would give a shout-out to Tompkins School on the radio. As I was driving home I heard it. Thank you to Tompkins School for the donation of Teddy Bears! Great job.

Our Teddy Bear tree was a huge success!! We sent Mrs. Lasiuk off with all the bears to find their "fur"ever homes!! Thank you to everyone!

The students received their Naughty or Nice certificates from Santa Claus today!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Tompkins School SCC for the delicious turkey dinner yesterday which was prepared by V's Place!! Merry Christmas!

The Grade 1/2 Science class have been exploring structures! Here are our architects hard at work planning and creating their own structures!

Our Teddy Bear Tree looks wonderful! Thank you to all who donated so far. The deadline to donate is this Friday, December 4 so we can get the Teddy Bears to Canadian Tire for their Toy Days event. They donate all toys collected to the Salvation Army.
