FOLLOW @tomthetrainerfitness if you want to finally breakthrough your fitness barriers today. - BRO SPLIT VS SCIENCE by @tomthetrainerfitness - The "perfect split" can be frustrating to find I know! There's information everywhere all making different claims on "what's best" and often the reason WHY a split should be used gets lost. ... - Science and research is indicating that regular frequent training doses are yielding the best results for muscular growth and fat loss. - This is because of "protein synthesis" which is the body creating new muscle at a heightened rate for a short period of time after training. - So in theory the more often you create regular training doses in each muscle the more overall growth occurs. This is why the Push, Pull, Legs split has become so popular among intermediate lifters. - Now, what the research doesn't tell you is that the testing groups used are often NOT advanced lifters. Which is why there is some contradiction in the industry surrounding "the best split". - This is NOT one of those posts sending the message of "Well Science Indicates The Best Is... " because practical application should always be considered. If the largest men in the world are running the "bro split" and have been for years then there clearly is some merit behind it. - The bro split has it's place and science doesn't always tell the whole story, but the reality is unless you've been training for 3+ years consistently you need not incorporate body part splits. - Especially if fat loss is your goal, because gun runs aren't burning many calories so make a smarter choice. - Like this content? - Follow @tomthetrainerfitness Follow @tomthetrainerfitness Follow @tomthetrainerfitness - See more

He loves lifting heavy and getting after it like a badass showing up consistently for his workouts which is clear because you can't lose 100lbs with a poor work ethic!
