, . I captured these shots during a torrential downpour last summer. No music, just the sound of rain washing the day away... Watch till the end for special guest See more

I'm posting a bunch of throwback videos from the past few years. this here is a song I wrote in the old studio that I never actually recorded, other than this short clip. Enjoy!
. I'm posting a bunch of throwback videos from the past few years Summer of 2018, I played guitar solos for street change every weekend. People were mostly nice, money was alright, and the biggest challenge was the weather. I played almost every weekend until late September when it was too cold at night to play guitar, even with fingerless gloves

. I felt like I wasn't making much money, because so many people online talk about "how to make $30 000 per month" or "how to land 10K clients" and other massive numbers like that. Look, if you're providing services for people, like training or producing content, you might not charge a massive price right away. ... You might have to get your foot in the door as a beginner and charge $50 or $100 for a photo shoot, for example. But always keep in mind that most people work for a wage that pays them around $100 a day to spend their WHOLE DAY doing something they HATE! So would you rather make less money doing something fun, or get paid more money to suffer for 8 hours? You decide. See more

' ? You may have a massive 4K ultra super HD monitor, but the vast majority of people, especially in developing countries, do not. Lots of people watch videos in 480p, 360p, even 240p. Many countries overseas are limited to satellite Internet and other slower connections. ... No matter how low your video quality setting, audio is ALWAYS important. Even if the video is blurry or pixelated, as long as the viewer can clearly hear the video, you can still get value from it. Keep this in mind when producing your content, and when in doubt, give that audio a little boost! See more
'-'? You probably hear video creators talking about "let's put some B-roll there", but what does that mean? B-roll is one of the easiest ways to improve your video quality! ... People lose attention quickly when your video is just one static shot. Incorporating B-roll makes your video feel more like TV! And I always say to my clients "if it feels like TV, people watch like TV" Film some B-roll and keep it handy for your next video! See more
... People think you need to get a bunch of good cameras and lenses BEFORE you can even start making videos. Truthfully, you should start making content right away, no matter how "bad" you think the quality is. ... Worst case scenario, no one watches. Best case scenario, you start learning on the fly and by the time you get more equipment, you already know what you're doing. Here are a few simple tricks you can use to make awesome videos with nothing but your phone! See more
I always look forward to shooting with @wrxpropertygroup each week! George and Mario always bring the energy and it's a new production objective every week. Sometimes it's interviews, sometimes we are looking at properties... Every week is a fun surprise. ... These guys interviewed a ton of different local KW businesses on their YouTube channel. Search "WRX Property Group" on YouTube for an in-depth look at some of the businesses in town including: @theofficialdimensionsindance @robynleprix @lisciousinteriors @elitetrainingfacilitykw @redline_conditioning and many more! ? One of the easiest ways to make more money is to stop spending it! Buying a new piece of gear is not the solution to writer's block. ... Even if you get inspired from buying a new tool, it probably won't last long. The best tool is the one you have with you. Start using what you have, and earn that gear upgrade! See more
... People often ask me why I quit producing music as my main business. Honestly, I got tired of all of it. It was just too subjective and emotional, and I got sick of having to listen to the same song over and over again. ... Also, to be quite honest, I found the musical community to be quite vapid and meaningless. Too much smoking and drinking and drugs for my liking. I also really dislike how people worship celebrities. People like Jim Morrison and Axl Rose should not be idolized. Ironically, people will criticize me for daring to criticize their idols. Well, someone had to say it. Celebrities don't care about you! Worshipping them is gross. I could go on, but I've probably already pissed off a lot of musicians by saying this hahahahaha See more
.... Look, if you studied something you like and now work in that field, that's amazing. But, The truth is a lot of people go to school to satisfy their parents by doing what they think they "should" do. ... But if you study business for 4 years and then don't even know how to set up an IG ad.... What the **** did they teach you? I know so many people who dropped out of school, started their own business, and are now way more successful than their classmates. Sure, if you want to be a doctor or lawyer or something, you're going to have to graduate, but in this short video that's not what we are talking about. See more
? Personally, I don't use an actual script. I prefer bullet points. When you write a script, you're distracting yourself by trying to read it, instead of trusting yourself to know the material and present it. ... Last week while shooting with some clients, their script gave them a lot of trouble. We switched to bullet points, and they nailed the video on the first take. Everyone works differently, but personally I find scripts don't help as much as bullet points do. Experiment with different techniques and see how it affects your results. See more
: The only way to stop being camera shy is to get in front of the camera and get used to it. It might take a few weeks, but eventually you will forget they are even on. ... You'll discover your sweet spot and the cameras will feel like a natural extension of your workspace. Getting positive feedback from your viewers will also help you become more confident. Leave a comment if you struggle with being camera shy See more
: ? Most of your followers don't see what you post. These social media platforms are very manipulative with their algorithms, so in order to get seen by a lot of your followers, you need to post a lot. Wouldn't it be great if it just showed your content to people who follow you? ... Unfortunately there is a lot more manipulation going on behind the scenes.... Comment below if you get sick of people who post multiple times per day. See more
Best way to make awesome video content? There's this YouTube channel run by a guy named Ron Pratt. He has a tow truck company in Missouri. His whole channel is basically just a ride-along, where you watch him pull cars out of the ditch. Honestly, it's awesome. If you have a business where you get your hands dirty, I bet there are a lot of people out there who would watch you do it. ... Consider hiring a camera man to shadow you on the job and produce videos. That way, people can see exactly what you do, and you have content without needing to sit down and plan it out. Just do what you do best and let the work speak for itself! See more
. The thing that most of the "pros" do is shoot a bunch of videos in one batch. Then you have enough content from the entire week without constantly having to make a new video every day. Expect high-value videos discussing content related to videography and content production. ... But until then, here are two shots from a recent drone flight over my Kitchener neighborhood! @ Kitchener, Ontario See more
NEED FEEDBACK New video format for my Bible channel @kingsinchristkjv is the text too fast? Should I add voiceover? Please let me know what you think
Check out the view from up here! This is footage from my first ever outdoor drone flight. Very cool to see my neighborhood from this perspective. It's also funny that all the snow melted for this day, and this morning I woke up to white ground again. Praise God!
Here's the third video of these sleepy kitties. The waiting I mentioned in previous posts is over. Expect to see some cool videos from a "new angle" soon.....
Looks like I'm not the only one sitting and waiting by the window. Expecting a special delivery today. Can't give away much more details yet but you'll find out soon.....
Not a care in the world. Look how busy these kitties are being cute. In between running around the housing, chomping, and destroying things, they need to rest and relax in order to have enough energy to continue..... Chomping and destroying things. All three are boys; don't let Ted's sideways bowtie trick you. Whenever he wears anything else, he manages to take it off and hide it somewhere....
Don't tell the other two that I told you this but Eddy is the best cat. He's the most well-behaved and everyone who meets him jokes about wanting to smuggle him home. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Teddy and Milo but Eddy is less annoying and even when he is loud, it's usually funny to listen to so we kind of enjoy it @ Kitchener, Ontario
Swipe to make Milo stand up He is enjoying the last few days of autumn before the snow shows up for good @ Kitchener, Ontario
I keep my camera at the ready when I'm working in the studio. When the kitties are sitting still, it seems like my camera is always in my bag, and when I try to get it out, the kitties get excited and try to eat the camera bag, and the moment is ruined! So now I keep the #Canon ready on my desk to capture shots like these. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as Teddy enjoys modeling for them. @ Kitchener, Ontario
Do you get nervous when you're on camera? What are you afraid of? most people (at first) have a very hard time being themselves in front of the camera. The only way to overcome this insecurity is to PRACTICE, and just do it anyway. Less thinking, more doing, and you'll soon forget the cameras are even on.
"Don't get hit by the train, bro!" I love a good spontaneous video shoot. Lots of things happening in this city. Glad to be working with @wrxpropertygroup
The cameras are always rolling.... I've been having a blast shooting video with Mario and George from @wrxpropertygroup Not only is the work genuinely fun thanks to their energy, but I'm also learning a ton of valuable information about the real estate market
Lots of views DOES NOT equal lots of If a million people see that picture of you eating organic yogurt in front of the Google building, does that really bring you any business? Most of the time, no. But what if five people see your ad and three of them hire you right away? It's all about quality over quanitity
If you haven't taken the Green Pill yet, I highly recommend you do so. Even in a very small space, you can grow your own shoots and sprouts as long as you have light and water. You don't even need soil! In fact, most of our garden is grown hydroponically, meaning the roots go straight into fertilized water with no soil required!
But what is a seed? A seed is potential in its raw form. Did you know seeds are alive? They are in a state of suspended animation. They can die after a very long time in storage, but it's amazing to me how long they can sit, and still flourish when planted. God's creation is breath-taking.
Life begins with the smallest seed. There is a very important lesson to be learned from the humble seed, and there's a reason the greatest teacher on earth spoke of seeds in His parables. And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17:20 KJV
