I hope this message finds our friends and clients safe and healthy. When we entered our 28 day lockdown on Boxing Day my hope was that we’d be able to reopen January 24th. Sadly with Premier Ford’s announcement yesterday we know that’s not our reality. As disappointing as it is, we realize that a further lockdown is necessary to help protect the community. And this point in time I won’t speculate as to when we will be allowed to reopen. I will say that when we do, we will w...ork as hard as possible to accommodate all of our guests. When the time is clear, we will reach out to reschedule all of our clients missed appointments. This is a frustrating time for all of us but hopefully in the near future we will see a more positive prospective. In the meantime we’ve been able to access some online training and everyone here is excited to get back to doing what we live and love to do. Happy New Year! I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff and clients for an unforgettable year. Some serious highs overshadowed what has been the most challenging year in our 18 year history. From the support we received from clients purchasing gift cards during quarantine to the flood of people returning when we reopened. Without your support things could have looked a lot different. To all those who voted for us to earn the Peterborough Examiners Diamon...d awards for best Salon and best Barbershop we thank you. Finally to my coworkers who worked like crazy for the past several months, you rock! Thank you for all your hard work. We’re starting the New Year in a way none of us would or could have imagined a year ago. Hopefully we’ll be back in a few weeks and we can do what we do best. Support your downtown businesses this holiday season!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas, albeit an unusual one. We look forward to a new and better year than the previous! At this point our salon is temporarily closed but we hope to be up and running around January 23(ish). Our goal will be to reschedule appointments once we have a firm date. I learned my lesson the hard way on this point with the last quarantine. Two weeks quickly turned into 3 months. Hopefully that is not the case this time around. I will be ch...ecking messages at the salon and will return calls as often as possible. Feel free to message over Facebook as well and we’ll get back to you. The turnaround this time will be much smoother for us as we already know all the proper safety measures and procedures. This is a difficult time for us all. Trust me when I say that getting back to work, doing what we love and being with our clients is paramount. Above all we want our clients and staff to be safe, healthy and enjoy their visit when they come to us. As we learn any new details we will be sure to post and keep you informed. In light of Premier Ford’s announcement today we felt we should take some time for some reassurance to our valued clients. Since reopening in June we have made every effort to ensure a healthy and safe environment for everyone that enjoys coming to the salon. With the lockdowns in Toronto and area, we will continue to be steadfast in all aspects of hygiene and safety protocols. What this also means is we will continue screening appointments to ensure that we only serve our community and clientele during these times. Our commitment to our business and guests remains priority number one and we will not take any risks that may jeopardize the standards that we uphold. I’d like to start on a positive note and wish all of our clients, friends and family a happy and safe holiday season! My hope was I’d never have to write another post about a closure but sadly that has come to fruition. After premier Ford’s announcement we will be closed for the minimum 28 day period starting Boxing Day and ending on approximately January 23rd. My understanding is that this timing could possibly change but in the meantime we’ll base our decisions on that dat...e. Over the next week we will do our best to effectively communicate but we ask for your patience during this time. With the holidays and preparing for shutdown it will be slower than normal. At this point any previously booked appointments will be honoured in the order they were booked. I still want to encourage people to reach out for future appointments and we will add you to the queue for when we reopen. We will do a mass rescheduling as soon as we know the date. We will be available should you wish to purchase products and we can arrange for pickup. This is an important period in all our lives and we want to ensure that we do our part to help keep the community safe and healthy. So it’s been one crazy month since we reopened but what an amazing time it’s been. We’ve all worked tirelessly to reunite with so many friends and clients. Everyday has been filled with amazing reunions and I’m so proud of our staff for navigating our new reality at the shop. I’m amazed at the level of excitement and thrilled that we haven’t had to fix many home hair adventures. For those who’ve been in to see us we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
