The media portrays wen and men incredibly differently and I think it's time we realize we're not sheep who follow blindly. My body might not look like the most "beautiful" actress or singer but it is good enough for me! As a woman we're always told how beautiful, cute, sexy, or some other compliment that solely relates to our looks , we are. Why do we always focus on our size or how we look when guys get to walk around like warm coleslaw?? Be who you want to be and dress ho...w you want to, for you! If you want to wear makeup and high heels then do it! If you want to wear a poncho then wear one! It is your body, you don't have to apologize for it or make excuses for it. Work toward being healthier and stronger and being the best version of you FOR you, not for some unrealistic beauty standard created by the media to get you to buy into a host of products to make you "look beautiful". You are beautiful!!!! Ladies and Gents stand up today and feel proud of what your body has done for you and be grateful you can be who you want to be!

Your life shouldn't be missed just because you want to drop a little weight. Remember you are more than your physical self so stop putting pressure on yourself to be a certain weight and start focusing on being the best version of yourself from the inside. Workout to be strong but don't let it control your life. Eat to nourish your body but don't let a strict diet get in the way of social gatherings with loved ones. Being healthy is more important than the number on the scale

Fitness is about strength, mobility, endurance, and mental health. You can't have one without any of the others and none of those things is defined by how you look. Looks are for the birds so stop focusing on that "summer bod" and keep your eyes set on making progress and feeling great! You are one thought away from a new you! Fitness starts with believing in yourself!

I don't know anyone who hasn't occasionally fallen on and off the fitness train. If you're anything like me sometimes you are so consistent you can't dream of ever taking a month off and other times you can't remember the last time you were active. Life gets busy but just remember to work toward your goals and to be kind to yourself when you aren't perfect. Let's crush some goals this summer!!
