Hi everyone, the season @Tony's Place is soon coming to a close, and mom and I would like to take the moment to extend our sincere and warmest gratitude for your ongoing support this season. With that in mind, please note the dates for closing Tony's Place. Firstly, the food truck's last day of service is scheduled for Sunday, August 30th. Hope you can take the advantage of next weekend to savour some great comfort foods at the food truck. Also, with school starting t...he first week of September, we believe wise to consider a closing date of Monday, September 7th - after Labour Day Long Weekend. Public Announcement Recently, I was personally attacked in the most profound manner with a deliberate attempt at sabotaging Tonys Places reputation with a post released on Facebooks Caissie Cape Community Group. I was informed by someones else of the viral post who no doubt hurt the reputation at Tonys Place. I am deeply saddened by this unmerited and uncared act. Thankfully, the post was quickly removed (not at my request), yet the reputation damage has been felt. M...ost importantly, I wanted to demystify the myths and state the facts regarding the false and unmerited claims. Firstly, the person making the false allegations never worked at Tonys Place this year or in previous years according to the new and previous owners. The allegations held no merit and was merely an attempt at sabotaging Tonys Place in hope to take down the new owners. This personal attack is perceived to be an act of hatred. And it deeply hurt me and my mom, the new owners at Tonys Place. Understanding farewell, the commitment to uphold my responsibility in serving Tonys Place in the Food Industry and supporting the community where the stakes are high and unforgiving, I can appreciate the impacts of such an attack, and sadly, some will choose to believe the false allegations and others will not. I could not be more disappointed in the outcome, yet I understand fully the power of social media. Little more can be said to correct the false allegations made, however, please allow me to express my deepest regrets for any impacts this may have had on you, these types of cowardly passive-aggressions are commonly made towards transgenders and they are aim solely at personally hurting individuals. Meanwhile, please be advised that I will accept no further harsh unwarranted and careless judgement. I am prepared and have taken necessary legal actions to address any further issues. Most of all, I can leave Tony's Place with honour, dignity and respect with my conscience clean; knowing confidently the facts that I have done no wrong. I remain committed in serving you well and I continue to uphold my commitment to serve the community at Tonys Place right. Yours very truly, Chef Lucia

Every Sunday, brunch is being served from 11am till 1pm. Tia Chi on the beach and Brunch, $25 a person, and brunch is $18 a person. On the menu is: scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, shredded hash, pancakes, bacon, sausages, back bacon, tropical fruit salad, coffee and tea. Hope to see you soon.

Hi everyone! For those that may not know, Tony Downing (the founder of Tony's Place) adopted a cub bear which he called 'Teddie'. The cub was left after the mother had been hit by a car... Tony took the cub as a pet and had the locals come to the store to pet the cub for a nickel. In order to commemorate Tony's effort and the thoughtful act of saving the bear's life, we thought that Teddie could be revived in spirit and sell candies (see in picture on the bottom right) for Mother's Against Drunk Divers (MADD). Hope you can come by the store and support Teddie's cause. 100% of proceeds goes to MADD.

Hi Everyone, Please read carefully and share accordingly. Just a few words to express our measures implemented to ensure your safety with respect to the reality of COVID-19 as well as the new norm of operation required and recommended by our Health Minister. Please share accordingly to help us keep you safe. We do our best to manage the directional flow and physical distancing, but we understand that we cannot do this alone and we do appreciate your help. Since opening..., we have implemented the following measures to the best of our abilities: - A COVID-19 operation plan and strategy has been created which follows the guidelines issued by ServiceNB and WorkSafeNB; - Staff Training for hand washing, hand sanitizer and gloves wear including encouraging mask wear (masks have been ordered on May 12, and we have yet to receive our order) even though mask wear is optional; - Staff Training has been provided in order to wash and sanitize all touch surfaces often including equipment and washrooms (public/staff) and public machines (pin balls, juke box, tables, door knobs, etc.); - Hand sanitizer continues to be offered to our guests; - Social distancing markers have been placed and guest directional flow markers and signed have been placed on floor and doors to ensure physical distancing: using the side door for store entry; and using the front door for exit; - At the side door, we have posted a screening poster to ensure that guest self assess their condition prior to entering the facility; - We continue to request "No CASH" sales at the food truck where food is being prepared and served in order to minimize cross contamination and exposure with staff. Staff have been advised to sanitize their hands after touching monetary instruments; - We continue to provide take out containers at the food truck and we have added outsides seatings while ensuring the social distancing recommendation; - A contactless Point of Sale system for ALL payments has been implemented and continues to be provided in order to help minimize public, instruments and facility touch points which are susceptible for cross contamination risks; - An Online system ordering has been been implemented to minimize social contact, social distancing and minimize guest exposure. Tony's Place will soon be open with new owner Chef Lucia who brings new energy, ideas, and delicious food items....
