Kettlebell routine Here we use a band. And kettlebells. Let's get it. Rows.... Swings. High pulls. Jump jacks swings. High pull shuffle. You can mix it up how you like. 45 sec or 30 sec each exercise. Rest 1min between sets. You can just pick one exercise and do it for 1min on 1min off Your choice. Point is to use this downtime in isolation. Exercise relieves stress. plus you don't need a lot of space to do this. Friday Valentine's work out Short and sweet. In this video we have double kettlebell snatch with a forward walking lunge. Try this with light kettlebells to get your technique down first.... This is a challenge however once you get it it's a very good whole- body workout. If you don't have the space to walk, you can stand and lunge alternating legs. Yesterday was Active metabolic assessment day at lifetime Vaughn. Thank-you for a very informative session. Anthony you did s great job! While Working with 12kg up to 44kg 1min each bell, soft swings. 20 mins Max.... You really get to understand what the bodies v02 Max is and what zones your body is working in. While running or in this case, swinging the kettlebell. I could of went much longer. I do have alot of stamina in the tank however, my grip! said enough. Grab 2 bells, try split jumping lunges 5 reps 5 times then try one leg. knee bends Make sure not to jump on the one leg. Just touch the bell to the ground. Bend your knee as best you can.... Clean into a squat. Here we use only the clean and squat. I am using two 45lb kettlebells. Try a weight that will challenges you. ... Start first with a lighter weight. The racking bell portion of this exercise is important. practice your racking skills. keeping the bell as close to your body as possible. Elbows close to the rib cage. Smoothly without kettlebell banging or crashing down on the forearms. Try catching the bell, although this takes practice. In the long run this is very beneficial for This exercise and or other kettlebell exercises. Try 5 reps with 1min rest 5 times or go for 25 reps straight. Either way this is a whole bodywork. An excellent one. Not complicated very effective. Try it today.. For you ladies and gentlemen who want a quick hardcore workout, the snatch one of my favourites! Excellent for when you are short on time. Need the calories too drop and fastest way to get in shape using kettlebells. The Snatch, do 5 reps each arm then 5 reps double Kbells, 5 reps triceps pr...ess. 5 reps to start. 3 times then let's do single Kbell 10reps and double bells 10reps + 10 triceps presses. Rest as needed between sets, 1min for 10reps 30sec for our 5 reps people. Burn more than running that treadmill for 20 minutes in fact! Here is a great kettlebell routine for all levels! 1: Holding bells at both sides, kneel and stand 2: bells in the rack and repeat kneeling and standing 3: one bell in the rack the other hand, bell pressed above the head. Repeat kneeling the standing alternate position 4: deadlifts 5: reverse lunge knee up, alternate 6: one leg deadlifts. Let’s bring it back! Back to basics How to improve your swing: 1. Place a dumbell or kettlebell between your legs in the floor, swing a bell without hitting the strategically placed obstacle. This will help you keep the bell up and above the knees. 2. Improve your hip hinge by using a rubber band, the elasticity will force the pull-down action, therefore, forcing a more dynamic hip hinge. Squeeze your glutes and tighten the abs, pull up the knee caps on the upswing portio...n of the swing. This is a great way to improve the dynamic range of the swing. 3. Once you have steps 1 & 2 down to a science, try flipping the bell with the obstacle still in place. Improve you're rack Here is a simple but effective way to improve your rack. Stand facing a wall, start arm's length away from the wall. Rack the bell without hitting the wall. Once this is accomplished, next try a foot away from the wall and without hitting the wall, rack the bell. Try this one to improve your rack position, all while keeping the bell as close to your body as possible. As Bruce Lee would say become the water. We start with a high pull or upright row using cables to isolate this movement. Then we move onto our burn which consists of high pull, burpee, snatch, burpee, clean and press and finally burpee. Try 1min on 1min off or if you're in better shape try 2min on 1min off. High pull burpee and snatching burpee then rest. Back to basics with the kettlebell swing. Here we use cables and the hex rack to work the same muscles used in the swing. Cable Pull ,works lower back, glutes, hamstring and thighs. Depending on your knees being bent or locked, trying both knees locked hits hamstring, glutes and lower back. Slightly bent hits more of the thighs and all the above....
