Tootsie's Hats & Whatnot

Been busy working on a wedding gift. I am behind as the wedding was weeks ago. I sprained my ankle at the end of April and still have troubles keeping it down for to long. Lots of ideas on what to make next just need a healthy foot to drive the sewing machine. Ps Kitty not part of gift. LOL

Finished a turtles hat for a cute little boy. Also working on yellow one for a little girl.

Well them move to Sault Ste Marie was successful!! My craft room is still in boxes. But hoping to get to it this week but might not as I have a cute little girl who is turning 5 this week.

Well things are changing here at Tootsies Hats and Whatnot. We are moving back to our home town of Sault Ste. Marie. But that wont stop me from making hats and not selling them to my friends in Peterborough as we have the mail to get them to you! As of September 1 we will located out of the Sault. Look for some cool stuff this fall. As long as my stuff doesnt end up in storage. LOL.

Camping for the next 4 days. We are out of town but do have my sewing machine with me and some fabric.

Finished teachers gifts in the nick of time. Hoping that love them!

Working on Teachers gifts for my daughters teacher. This is the first of three that I need. Love the colours. Blue is my most favourite. These little totes are reversible. So sweet for just carrying a few things. Or a craft bag for on the go. I can make some for others for $35. Will post pictures when I am done.

Hint of something new coming. Presently doing a pattern testing for a hat made from knit fabrics. Loving the idea of having another style and fabric type for hats.

Havent posted much lately as I have been doing some pattern testing for a couple of different PDF pattern places. Testing a top for me with a cute tie in the front. And helping with the final tests and photos for cute sleep wear for Samantha.... Here is a sneak peek at the sleepwear.

We got a new small tree this year so I made a super cute minion tree skirt for it. Love how it turned out.

Here are the 30 coffee cozies I made for the school using my scraps. Cant wait to hear how well they sold on Friday. Samantha was sick so she didnt get to go.

Another super cute car seat poncho headed out the door today. Love the colours in for this one.

Supper cute sleep hats done in Ghost Buster fabric for a sweet fan. Last year I made these in a buffalo plaid for us and we wore them in our family Christmas photos.

Just made this super cute custom carseat poncho for a cute little girl who loves Cinderella. L Can make one for your little one $45 to 65 depending on the fabric choose.

Excited that this will be going to my new little friend this afternoon. Mr. Smiley. Also excited to add this to my shop. Same sizes as my other hats but these will be a bit more in cost. 0-3 mths, 3-12 mths, & 1-3 years will be $20 and the 2-6 years and the 4-8 years are $25. Check out the patter cover. Can make plain hats or dragons, chicken, bug, or Alien. Plain can have a matching pompom for the top.

Sorry been so quiet as of lately. Been busy with Samantha starting school. I love to make flannel blankets so here is the first one I am adding to the site as part of the whatnot. I can make the any size any colour depending of course in the availability of the colours you would like. Cost will depend on fabric chooses. This Batman one measures 45" x 46". It is super soft and colourful. Cost is $50. I am going to take a better pic tomorrow outside in the natural light. Christmas is coming. I made them one year for my niece and nephews and the loved them. I have made a dozen or more of them.

I am going to be in Sault Ste. Marie, ON August 4th to August 14th if anyone wants a hat. I have some stock I have made that I am bring with me but if you want something specific tell me now and I will pack up my supplies. See soon.

This hat has a sweet little bow on the side but can be worn on the back or front. Size and Price 0-3 months $10.00 3-6 months $12.00 6-12 months $14.00 12-24 months $16.00 2-4 Toddler $18.00 4-10 Child $20.00 Hat is made with two different types of 100% cotton fabric. Hat pattern doesnt come with a tie but I could put one on if you special request it for an extra $2 per hat.
