This Thanksgiving we are offering a special Thanksgiving afternoon tea. This set tea comes with sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones, and a great selection of desserts. If you wish to dine with us please make reservations for Friday October 9th, Saturday October 10th, or Sunday October 11th. Or order take out so you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Now that it is officially autumn it's the perfect time to try our seasonal Apple Cinnamon scone paired nicely with @escarpment_gardens apple spice tea!

We are so excited to finally say after 4 months we are OPEN!! Our new hours are Wednesday - Saturday 11am - 4pm, Sunday 12pm - 4pm. We also have our patio open and ready to serve. And of course we are still offer takeout afternoon teas.

Phase 3 news! Hello all today marks the start of re-opening phase 3 in Ontario. Normally this allows indoor restaurant seating to become available (with extra safety measures in place.) However, we at Top Hat Tea Room want to ensure absolute safety for our customers, so we will not be opening our dinning room this weekend. Our patio WILL be open from 11-4 Friday - Sunday. We will be opening or dinning room starting next Friday the 24th (assuming all goes to plan) with us ret...urning to our regular hours on Wednesday the 29th. We are happy to announce that we officially have a patio! Our patio hours are 11am-4pm. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We currently have three tables of two that overlook Broadway. As always we are keeping everything safe and clean. We look forward to having everyone visit us again. We are also accepting private patio parties. To book a private party you can either message us on Facebook or call us during patio hours. (Private parties are available any day of the week.) Mother’s Day was a big success for us and all we can say is thank you to all our friends and supporters. It’s because of you that Mother’s Day was a successful day for our business. Now we look to the future in this uncertain time. We are happy to continue to offer our afternoon tea. Top Hat Tea Room. Covid-19 Update. First off I hope everyone has stayed happy and healthy. We are happy to announce that we will be back in business but for pick up only starting this Sunday May 10th (Mothers day.) We are going to be offering only our Afternoon tea to start with other menu items possibly added in the future.The Afternoon tea costs $24.50. when ordered will consist of 1 plain scone, 1 raisin scone, 8 finger sandwich (2 Turkey, 2 Ham, 2 Cucumber & Cream Cheese,... and 2 Chicken Salad), an assortment of desserts, and your choice of tea. Starting today you can place an order with us by messaging us on Facebook for a Sunday booking (spots limited). We are forced to limit the amount of pick ups at any given time to help ensure social distancing. Pick up time for Sunday will be available between 11pm-5pm let us know what time is best for you when you place an order and we will confirm the best available time for you to pick up. Reservations for Sunday's tea must be made before 4.pm on Saturday. After Sunday we will continue to be open in an Online/pickup format. We will require a 24 hr minimum notice for any orders. There will be NO in person orders. Also payment must made with credit/debit at pickup or e-transfer in advance. We at Top Hat Tea Room want to keep everyone healthy, happy and full of treats! Covid-19 update: After much discussion we here at Top Hat Tea Room have decided to temporarily close. This unfortunately means we will also not be doing take out. The cost is unfortunately too high for us to stay open for take out. We will be staying closed until the state of emergency ends or until they allow restaurants to re-open. To our valued customers and friends: There has been a lot of talk about COVID-19 in the news in recent days. We here at Top Hat Tea Room have taken extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees: - Firstly in complying with the state of emergency in Ontario announced on Tuesday morning Top Hat Tea Room will be closing sit down service until further notice. We will still be offering take out for the time being.... - We have doubled down on our already strict level of cleanliness within our location from disinfecting our debit machine and cash register after every use, as well as cleaning and sterilizing our kitchen work stations after every meal made. Our Hours will remain unchanged over the next few weeks even though we will ONLY be able to offer take out until further notice. We love being apart of the community and we will continue to provide quality service both during and after this crisis. We encourage everyone to please stay healthy and safe.
