Here is Winston the 6 month old Bernedoodle puppy who enjoyed his first visit to the mobile spa in the spring. I am looking forward to seeing him again very soon. He was a very good boy for his first ever haircut and we had a lot of fun. His owner did a great job taking him for a few grooms when he was younger so he would be comfortable with the... grooming process when he was ready for his first full groom. Here is a recent one, sweet little Lola the Pomeranian got her Summer Makeover and looks just adorable! Her owner likes this low maintenance style, and I think the shorter hair really does suit her. Wednesday, I really enjoyed meeting Dakota the 9 week old German Shepherd puppy . This sweet little girl was just AWESOME for her first ever spa day. It is so important to expose puppies to all things that will become a regular part of their lives when they are still young. I was happy to make it a pawsitive experience for Dakota and look forward to seeing her grow up. We introduced the things like standing on the grooming table and the sensation of brushing. Her owner... has done a great job handling her feet, so she was perfect for her first nail trim. Next came the bubblebath and the slow introduction to the sound and sensation of our gentlest dryer. Here is another one from April, Gryffin the Bernedoodle who is the brother of Tucker from my last posting. This sweet boy also did very well in his first visit to the Top Dog Mobile Spa. It’s always so interesting to see such variety in mixed breed dogs, add poodle to any breed and you seem to get a whole range of sizes and coat types and textures. His services included an Oxygenated Bubblebath with Oatmeal & Tea tree shampoo and some special Black coat enhancing shampo...o to help showcase the dark parts of his coat. Here is one from back in April, handsome Tucker the Bernedoodle. He was a very good boy for his first visit to the Top Dog Mobile Spa, even though it was a long one! I was able to save most of his length with a lot of patient brushing and detangling. I really enjoyed a chance to practice my sculpting skills with the clippers to even out his cut and shape the legs. His services also included an Oxygenated Bubblebath with Oatmeal & Tea tree shampoo to soothe and hydrate hi...s skin and a splash of special Whitening shampoo to gently brighten his coat. I am behind in my postings, Spring is such a busy time of year for Groomers! Here is Sofia the Sheltie who enjoyed her first visit to the Top Dog Mobile Spa this week. This sweet senior had a major Deshedding treatment, the pile of undercoat was bigger then her! I enjoyed meeting this sweet Samoyed "Yukon" on Easter weekend, and helping him shed out a FULL garbage bag of undercoat . It was a very long appointment but he was a Superstarfor his first visit to the Top Dog Mobile Spa. I was happy to help "Yukon" with his Spring Makeover and he left looking, feeling and smelling like the Top Dog he is. His services included (lots of!) careful brushing out to gently free his tangled undercoat and neatening of the paws and legs with ...scissors. Next was an aromatherapeutic Blueberry Facial Treatment and Oxygenated bubble-bath with soothing and hydrating Oatmeal & Tea Tree shampoo with a splash of our special whitening shampoo to gently brighten his fluffy white coat. High-Velocity drying with hypoallergenic conditioning mist helped coax out the remaining undercoat free and gave his coat a beautiful finish.
