Final Rock wall for the year. Until next spring. Another great Job by Lyndsay Noa and Alex Penner. This project had all sorts of small intricacies. The integrated stairs and extra drive way space added huge utility purpose to this build beyond just looking pretty!

First ones installed. Second one on its way! Looking like a cold December coming our way!

Our favorite strata is at it again. Fresh sod supplied from western turf and soil from coastal transporters. Renovation cleaned up and finished for thier brand new sump.

Hey Everyone. It is a chilly, windy Sunday Oct. 25th. Winterize them if you got them. Gunnera Plant. Winterized photos start to finish. I start by separating the leaves from the stalks with a large pair of sharp loppers. Once I have separated everything I lay the leaves upside down around the rootball. Once insulated with the leaves I bind them together with several overlapping tarps. The more layers the better. This is a tropical plant after all. Tarps secured with ornamental rocks that we keep in the garden around the plant. They are practically invisible year round while the plant has its leaves out. These have amazing leaves, and really cool flowers in season. In our climate they can be a challenge to keep healthy, but are worth the extra effort!
