Happy New Year EVERYONE! I am hoping this year brings a breath of fresh air as we look over all that has happened in 2020. As a new year begins and you are thinking of buying or selling in 2021 I want to assist in setting up the year right regarding the buying or selling process. With price increases anticipated throughout 2021, as a buyer, it's important to figure out the right type of property that is attainable to you and figure out the timeline in which you can achieve... it in order for you to benefit from the market growth. Wait too long, what you were 'hoping' to buy may no longer be in the budget.. I've seen it happen many times. That being said, the great thing about Ottawa is that we are a medium sized city with lots of different neighbourhoods at different price points, along with a lot of different styles of homes, again, at different price points. It's important for us to strategize about the direction you hope to take, the different opportunities out there, maybe even some creative clauses etc so that we can make this next step possible! Buying real estate is definitely not as easy as it used to be.. some buyers spend years trying to secure homes, and it can be quite frustrating. On the flip side, if you're thinking of selling it's important to get the right plan in place at the right time. We are seeing some similar homes sell for much more than others... mainly due to marketing strategy alone. Not all deals come easy and this #rental actually took a week to finalize. Despite the push back I didn’t want to give up on this #family as they needed to secure a #home ASAP (they were closing on the #sale of their home FAST) We worked hard and created some special clauses and finally got it done .
