New year, same request. I’m looking for 1-2 servers. Mostly day/afternoon shifts. 18+ This has always been the most sought after shift... since Covid, it’s impossible to even get resumes. Where is everyone?? No experience necessary, will train the right person for the job. Training hours would mostly be 10-2, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Once the menu and till is fully learned, then the shifts would change to more hours as it’s determined how much you can handle. It’s a... lot of multi-tasking and learning. If you’ve never served before, it will take approximately 2-3 months before you’re able to have your own section and be able to work by yourself for the afternoon. It is a hard, stressful job... but you can make good money. Literally the perfect trade. This is generally the time we start taking registrations for the Annual Pond Hockey Championships... due to this years Pandemic and the unknown of code red rest...rictions (but knowing with certainty we wouldn’t be able to have a beer gardens), we have decided not to move forward with this years Pond Hockey Championships. Hopefully we can make next years Pond Hockey Championships even bigger and better!!! Happy New Year! Stay safe everyone!

I have at the very least 9 days before we find out if we’re allowed to open. Once again; I find that we are needing 1-2 experienced servers for when that time comes. With Christmas now behind us, and a quiet New Years ahead, we will remain closed until January 13th when we will once again offer a lunch special from 11-2 and continue with Wednesday and Friday lunches until restrictions change. I love Portage. We’ve still been getting meal donations, and we’ve been selling out of our lunch specials most Wednesdays and Fridays.
