July 15, 2019 - PRESS RELEASE - The Toronto Cervantes Lions Club continues to support and encourage post-secondary education for students of Hispanic origin. Last Sunday, July 14, the Toronto Cervantes Lions Club together with the Latin American Scholarship Foundation, presented Certificates of Appreciation to the young students who applied for LASF 2019 scholarships. In attendance were some of the applicants and their families, the representative of the Consulate of Ecuador... Mr. Edy Montalvan, and several members of the media who have supported this project since its inception. Our commitment to strengthen our local community by "Firing up Academic Excellence" is a joint effort of local groups of service-minded men and women who are working hard towards this noble cause. Join the movement by supporting us at our upcoming Dinner and Dance Gala happening on Saturday, October 19th, 2019 at the Pearson Convention Centre. Hope to see you then! #torontocervanteslions #latinamericanscholarshipfoundation #hispanicscholarships
