They say that a dog's head tilt is Kryptonite to humans. Assaf here has been testing that theory and proving it to be true. This handsome boy is from Colombia. As you can see from his photos, his head tends to tilt to the right and he is also blind, the result of having been beaten on the streets. We think he is a Ridgeback/Doberman mix. He is being fostered in Toronto by a wonderful family, who say that he is super quick at adapting to his environment; He was able to navigat...e his new foster home within days. When we did these photos, Assaf was able to meet up with his buddy Motas, also from Colombia. The two became friends on their journey to Toronto, with Motas becoming Assaf's guide. Even though they are being fostered in different homes at the moment, we are hoping that an amazing family will come along and adopt the pair together. There will be more pics of Motas once he has been vet-checked and given the all clear to be adopted. In the meantime, please contact Paws Above if you're interested in meeting Assaf! #TGIF and #TGFP (Thank God For Puppies)! If you've had a ruff week, sweet Penny will cheer you up. She's an 11-week-old Shepherd mix, available for adoption through Paws Above. I'm sure she'll have no trouble finding a furever family!
