ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS: As we slowly begin to reopen the economy, schools, and travel in Ontario, it is important to stay up-to-date about the ongoing changes and accommodations that will be made for your child. Many people have expressed concerns about the cost of hotel quarantine accommodations when travelling internationally. We are pleased to announce that there is an exemption from 3-day hotel quarantine stay for unaccompanied minors and unaccompanied depe...ndent children who are travelling to Canada from overseas. This means that your child will not have to quarantine in a hotel for 3 days, and you do not need to worry about any additional costs for hotel accommodations. Of course, your child will need to meet the travel requirements to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by undergoing post-arrival testing. Toronto Central Academy will provide condo and/or homestay accommodations for the 14-day period that your child will need to stay in quarantine. All meals will be provided and we will ensure the safety and wellbeing of your child while they are in quarantine. At-home testing: Travellers will also be required to take another COVID-19 molecular test on day 10 of their 14 day quarantine. Travellers will be provided with a COVID-19 test kit and instructions before leaving the airport.
