Multi-disciplinary Choreographer and Dance Artist Fumu Jahmez & CL&D are excited to announce some new collaborations, Wellness Werk It Wednesday’s and Freedom Movement Fridays! Wellness Werk It Wednesday's start November 25th from 5-6pm EST and repeat every Wednesday Freedom Movement Friday's launch November 27th from 7-8pm EST and continue every Friday... Wellness Werk It Wednesday's is a one-hour IG TakeOver on our Instagram page @torontocld that will introduce viewers to weekly wellness tips for enhancing mobility, flexibility, strength, endurance, balance & stability for everyday activities through simple movements. For many of us the transition to working and staying at home more has created new challenges in maintaining basic health and wellness. When we take care of our body, it in turn, takes care of our mind, heart and spirit. Freedom Movement Friday’s first launched in 2018 and will continue virtually as a weekly IG LIVE TakeOver led by Fumu Jahmez on our Instagram page @torontocld. If you never had the opportunity to participate in a Freedom Movement Session before, you are in for a treat! What better way to close out the work week than with a dance party! Jahmez will be sharing some of his favourite traditional and contemporary dances from the African Continent and African-Diaspora. Expect to become reconnected to the rhythms of Mother Earth one step at a time. No previous dance experience is required. #CLD #strongcommunitiestogether #healthandwellness #healthylifestyle #healthyliving #movement #africandance #africanculture #africanmusic #fitness #mentalwellness #virtualdancesession #virtuallearning #fun #freedom #freedomfridays #danceparty #wellnesswednesdays #stretching #strengthandcardio #bodylove #physicalfitness #homegym
