Toronto Gaming Expo 26.10.2020

Get ready for Toronto Gaming Expo! We have great news to share. We are going into our fourth year and we’ve grown to the point where we are splitting our convention into Fantasy and Sci-Fi. What does this mean? ... It means MORE game systems and the best part is, you don’t have to choose fantasy over Sci-Fi! You can do both! Dates to remember are Fantasy July 1719 and Sci-Fi November 7-8. Splitting the event allows us to give more space for each of the events. At our Fantasy July 17th-19th event we will be holding events for: Warhammer Age of Sigmar 1-Day Two Player Team Event Warhammer Age of Sigmar 2-Day Single Player Event Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game 2-Day Single Player Event Warmachine & Hordes Champions Event on Friday Warmachine & Hordes 3 Person Team Event Saturday Warmachine & Hordes Masters Event on Sunday Kings of War 2-Day Single Player Event A Song of Ice and Fire 2-Day Single Player Event The Sci-Fi Event on November 7-8 will see the return of our Warhammer 40,000 ITC Ranked Major where players will be battling over our coveted crystal trophies. This year we will be able to expand the event to 90-100 players! We will be getting out the player packs roughly four weeks before the event. Separating the event allows us to hold events for other Sci-Fi game systems so stay tuned. Thank you so much for your support over the past 3 years. We are looking forward to our fourth! Tickets are on sale now! Hit up torontogamingexpo.com TGX Team

Greetings from the TGX team! We just wanted to announce a name change for our event. Going forward, the event will be called the Toronto Gaming Expo. We had a lot of people tell us that they thought that the ‘T’ in TGX stood for Toronto, so we decided why fight it. The new name also compliments our mission; to hold a ... premium miniature event within the GTA. Plans for next year’s event are already in the works, so stay tuned for our announcements as we got a few surprises coming:)

Toronto Gaming Expo 09.10.2020

Hello folks, We were all holding our breath and waiting how all this was going to develop but as information comes in and a better understanding starts to develop regarding COVID-19, we feel it would be irresponsible to hold our event in July. We do understand that between now and the date of the event that distancing restrictions might get relaxed. But even if that was the case, flair ups are bound to occur and will most likely be part of our foreseeable future going forw...ard. With that in mind and not wanting to be a cause for exposing anyone to danger, we regrettably have to announce the cancellation of our July event. We will of course be refunding everyone who has bought a ticket, but please give us this week to do so. As it stands, the November event is still on schedule and we are hopeful by that time things will have got close to normal. We are looking to revamp the line up of events for November and may incorporate the Age of Sigmar, Warmachine and Middle Earth events but we will see how schedules workout. We hope that all of you stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all soon. TGX Team

Year three. It is so weird typing that. Do not get me wrong, obviously we were aiming high and we are in it for the long haul but still reality has a way of being more impactful. In that short period of time our little event has grown so much. Like the prior years, there are many reasons why and at the risk of sounding cliché, it definitely took a community to raise this child and we would like to take a moment to thank them. We want to start with our event leads. ...Continue reading

The guys from Age of 6ixmar did a great job running the AoS event at TGX and we wanted share their thoughts. Hello everyone, Sorry for the delayed post but we wanted to give a massive shout out to everyone who supported us during the Weekend at TGX 2019. Also a massive thank you to Lionel Miranda and Fab Fer for trusting us with this portion of TGX along with, Rahul Pereira and the conquest boys, Chris Slye at Lords of War, and Richard Joshua and Marc for providing us with mo...st of the tables. We had 32 entrants, our largest tournament to date, and got to meet loads of new people in the community along with many of our tournament regulars. The results of the tournament are are follows: In first place we have a gentlemen named Alex who played Legion of Sacrament with 3 Mortarchs. In second place we had the God himself Paul Jetski with his shootcast Stormcast Eternals. In third place we had first time 6ixmar entrant but longtime contributor Jordan Duncan with Idoneth Deepkin. Special shout outs to Skarbrand himself Andy Mudge for starting the tournament saying he’s going 0-5 only to make it in fourth place. Over the next couple of days we will be reaching out to our top 3 to give a breakdown on how their armies work and what they feel are next steps. We also want to give a massive shout out to all the folks who came to our tournaments for the very first time, many of which were entering their first tournament ever. David Franco and Johnny Franco, William, Darren, Justin and Greg from Critical Hit, Kristopher, Jason, Sean, Harry, Brad, Levan and yury, Kevin, Richard, Louis Liao Johnathan Ho Huy Truong and Carl Hubes for bringing Asian Sigmar to life. If I missed any first time entrants please let me know so I can tag you here. To all of our regulars, thank you for being wonderful representatives of the community we built and I hope you continue to keep up the good work. We hope we are able to announce that Age of 6ixmar will return next year to TGX2020 to get those lists ready. As always if you have any feedback on the tournament you are welcome to reach out to any of us!
