It is coming up to the anniversary of the death of my dear friend and colleague, Debby Bruck. She was my homeopathic soul sister. Debbie was a homeopath, an artist, a flutist, and an observant Jewish woman. She brought light with herI miss her exhuberance, our long night talks in the hotel rooms when we were at seminars together, sharing our joys, our pain, and our lives. I should have also added that Debby was a mother, grandmother, wife, sister and daughter. There wa...s always a lot to talk about. We related on all levels and in our interests. I will say though that where I have performance anxiety Debby did not. She would play her flute for me. I wish she would have been able to rub off that ability onto me. But, what she did rub off onto me was the ability to stay the course and do what I love doing. Thank you, Kavitha, for making her memory a blessing.

When pregnant, the cells of the baby migrate into the mothers bloodstream and then circle back into the baby, it’s called fetal-maternal microchimerism. I’m biking behind this guy, somewhere in Sedona, from my wintery home in Toronto. My 20 minutes of exercise this morning. I want to put on my skates and find an outdoor rink. This year I’m determined to do what I need to do, despite Covid and LOCKDOWN- I haven’t seen my gym since last March. So I want to learn how to skate again. Just not sure if I still have my knee, elbow and wrist guards from the year of rollerblading. That’s when I broke my knee. My girlfriend, Debbie, just broke her wrist skating last week. So I have to see if I still have that equipment, otherwise I’m sticking to the bike and my virtual trips or walking the neighborhood, with my besty , Donna. What are you doing for exercise?? Give me some ideas.

The first thought I had reading this article is that, although I think Canada has one of the best national medical programs in the world, we would be farther ahead if the medical professions were more amenable to natural treatments. The patients would be more open to disclosing those treatments and the outcomes might be better for the patient. What do you think?
