Thinking about adopting a pet but you’re not sure if you’re a cat or dog person? That may be because you’re a special species person! Many special species pets are extremely intelligent, social and affectionate. They form bonds with their caregivers like any other pet. Ask any rat owner about how smart and communicative their companion is. Or a rabbit owner about how much their furry friend loves to snuggle after a round of binkies. They also make for amazing apartment pets! ...Small and sweet, these little guys won’t take up much space. When you bring home a special species animal, you are bringing home a companion with a unique personality. We currently have rats, guinea pigs and a few lizards in our care waiting to be adopted! Check them out at https://bit.ly/3lJBG4i
