DANIEL GAYSINSKY LEADS HOSTS’ HOPES IN #KARATE1MONTREAL 2019-06-22 The third stop of the 2019 Karate 1-Series A started in Montreal (Canada) on Friday with a thrilling first day of competition. Daniel Gaysinsky gave hosts plenty of reasons to celebrate with his qualification to the final while some of the biggest names of the sport demonstrated great form in Montreal. After the first day of competition in Montreal, the organising nation celebrated the qualification for the m...edal bouts of Daniel Gaysinsky - the Canadian representative in Male Kumite +84kg made it to the title-deciding bout. Gaysinsky upset Simone Marino of Italy in semi-finals 5-4 and will clash for his first medal in international competitions since his bronze at the Pan American Championships last year. His rival in the final is Turkey’s Alparslan Yamanoglu who edged Iran’s Sajad Ganzjadeh in semi-finals 1-0. https://www.wkf.net//daniel-gaysinsky-leads-hosts-hopes-in https://www.wkf.net//daniel-gaysinsky-leads-hosts-hop/994/ See more

To my FB Karate Friends, Pls read and act upon the message below from French National Coach Yann Baillon. He provides some valuable information about Paris 202...4 situation and is leading a movement to affect change. The time to act is now as it appears that things are still fluid. Please support Yann's movement, make the video and join with our global karate family! This movement is not only about elite karate competitors, its about sport karate enthusiasts everywhere. Also, please share Yann's call to action and make it your own!!! Dear Karatekas, My name is Yann Baillon, Former World Champion, Head Coach of French Karate Team and a fans of our sport. If I contact you today, is to fight together about 2024 Paris. .Let make hear IOC that Karate must be Olympic for 2024. To support young kid to reach their dreams. . First of all, I will try to explain what happened here in France; . The leaders of the WKF and the French Federation met on several occasions with the OCOG 2024, everything was going for the best, our sport was perfectly defended. The Director of sport of the OCOG said that our sport met all the IOC's expectations and there is no worries. Then suddenly the announcement was made and hit everyone, karate was not hold for 2024 Olympics Shorts list from French Olympic Comittee and the OCOG decided to announce it now, right before Tokyo. French leaders, fight to be heard, steps are taken to change this decision, things move and the media are interested in us. Several TV (national newspaper), press contact us and asking for interviews. Several sportsmen of other sports support us. This is a injustice, for the future of our generations. I wish we could each of us broadcast a short video with the Olympic sign 2024 and saying that we support Karate for 2024 Olympics: . https://paris2024.org///public/articles/images/zidane.jpg . Please announce in that video : your name, country, your Title, and say that "We will fight together for karate to be in Paris in 2024, for future generations of our sport". . Hashtags #karate2024 . The goal is to broadcast a maximum on Facebook and Instagram, that this message be relayed by thousands of practitioners who will make the same video, that the media are interested in each country about our movement, maybe the IOC will listen to us and change the decision of the COJOJ. . Thanks again for Listening to me and hope that all Karatekas friends will work together. . M. Yann Baillon, French Karate HeadCoach
