What is going on here? Radio frequency treatment for dry eye disease. So many of my patients suffer from meibomian gland dysfunction that causes dry eye disease. ... This treatment is in office, takes about 20 minutes, with no down time following the procedure. Up to 80% of dry eye disease comes from our glands not functioning properly. I just had my treatment done this morning and will report back on how I feel in a few days! As someone who suffers personally from dry eye disease, it is especially important for me to assess which treatments are most successful before I consider bringing them into my clinic.
