I tell most people I give estimates to that are getting multiple quote to always check the workmanship of the companies they are considering. I usually even offer recommendations to reputable foam companies as I trust there work. These photos were shared on a foam page we follow. The damages in these photos are almost irreversible. This foam was sprayed off temperature or ratio causing to not set and adhere as it should. In many place you can see the un-reacted chemical.

Sooo......should we call this whats in the attic or get the gas and burn this place to the ground? So we had another call from our friends at wildlife control. Lane we have a BIG bat issue. 14 bats inside the cabin in 7 days. With a little investigating and a man lift we found an improperly installed ridge cap to be the entry point for the flying mice. Brace yourself.......... heres what we found. Ps we really need a GoPro. When we removed the VERY soiled insulation 10-14 bats came scooting out.

Todays topic of discussion is Sea-Cans. They are rapidly becoming the go to for storage units for people. They are secure, portable, and affordable. But....:.. keep in mind we live in Alberta (Alberia) with rapidly changing weather conditions. The negative to seacans is they are metal and will condensate during colder conditions. So we place our prized possession away in these metal vaults in the fall to keep them safe and lone and behold when the doors are opened in the s...pring we find water damaged, possibly mouldy prized possessions . Here a sample of a seacan we recently sprayed. We installed 2 inches of closed cell foam on the ceiling of this unit to stop the ceiling from condensating and dripping on the prized possessions about to be stored in it. The owner is also installing an air vent on either end to allow air exchange. So heads up if this is something your considering to invest in to store your prized possessions. A little bit of foam will save a lot of heart ache in the long run. See more

Welcome to another addition of whats in the attic. Todays episode isnt for the squeamish . We had a call from our friends at wild life control about a bat issue affecting a home near a large lake. Wild life control had attempted to resolve the issues to the best of their capabilities but the issues were much deeper in the roof. After a visual inspection and talking with the tenants of the home we knew the roof must be opened up and the insulation replaced. Heres what we found .....
