Tour de Rock Gonzalez 02.01.2021

Help Keep the Magic Alive! This year Cops for Cancer - Tour de Rock needs your help more than ever. Faced with the challenges from Covid-19, we will roll out a ...socially distanced event and much different looking Tour from previous years. Alumni riders have answered the call to ride however, most of our community events across Vancouver Island have been cancelled. We need your help to keep the magic alive! We are fortunate for your support and grateful for any capacity to give in these uncertain times. And, while we continue to fundraise, the most meaningful magic happens when Island communities come together to raise hope and inspiration for our kids and families living with cancer. Here's how you can help keep the magic alive: Follow us on social media - like, share and comment on our posts Create your own fundraising page Make a donation online (follow the link in the comments section below) Thanks to our friends at Ocean 98.5 you can donate your refundable beverage containers for the remainder of August at participating Victoria Bottle Depot locations Support one of your community Alumni Riders Cancer doesn't take a back seat in a pandemic, nor will Tour de Rock! Volunteers are the heart and soul of Cops for Cancer - Tour de Rock. Since 1998, 433 riders have been selected and have devoted their time, alongside thousands... of other volunteers to grow Tour de Rock in to the largest community event on Vancouver Island. During this time, the Tour has raised over 26 million dollars to lead in charitable support for childhood cancer research in Canada. Money raised has funded new ways to detect, diagnose and treat childhood cancers, develop gentle, less invasive treatments and fund support programs like Camp Goodtimes. We are proud to recognise the contributions of our volunteers across communities the length of Vancouver Island. We are grateful for 23 years of unwavering support from dedicated riders, trainers, support crew, fundraising committees, schools, students, donors and sponsors. Together, you have made a meaningful difference in the lives of kids and families living with cancer. THANK YOU! #NationalVolunteerWeek #TourdeRock #forthekids
