. What each of us does has a profound impact on every living creature. Our health and wholeness is written upon the land and dependent on... each other. We support #IndigenousBC communities and businesses who are open or are planning to receive visitors who live near. We respect those who remain closed. We invite you to reflect on these precious resources as you take a video journey across Indigenous lands in British Columbia.

This model oil rig was made and donated by Kenny Theriault. From Kenny: "To answer some of your questions, no it isn’t any particular rig in the area. I was em...ployed as an instructor at Northern Lights College here in Fort St John. I was involved with both oil rigs that are standing in their yard at the College. Writing their material for the courses for Oil Rig Training, I was going to use my model for in class demonstration, but unfortunately the program kind of fell though the cracks so to speak, and I really didn’t want to just throw it away. Since Fort St. John is oil and gas town, I thought I would reach out to the museum and ask if you take such a donation. I have 30 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, working in Canada and the Middle East for a number of years." Kenny spent 6-8 weeks making it and manufacturing what he couldn't get. Come take a look at the model at the museum! See more
