What a beautiful day we had today...that sunshine brought out the bees and they surely didn't waste any time going straight to the snowdrops. What a contrast to last week with all that snow!

Okay! . This one is bound to get people talking . For all my fellow Pickle Lovers out there (I’m crushed that there is no Pickle emoji!), here’s a new take... on a Martini....we call it the Pickled-Tini . Pickle-backs are good if you’re out till 3am doing things you probably shouldn’t be doing.... but the Pickled-Tini brings a classier vibe to the under-rated pickled-drinkies . What is this master-piece made of you ask? 2oz Vodka Pickle Juice . No more. No less. . Stop by TC’s today and get Pickled!! (Cucumber emojis are going to have to do) . #TCsPub #BritishPub #OldEnglishPub #TrySomethingNew #GetOutOfYourComfortZone #PickledUp #PickledTini #MoveOverPickleBacks #Foodie #PickleLover #Controversy #GreatFood #AwesomePeople #GreatLocation #CentralPowellRiver #SoClose #ComeVisit #StopIn #RestaurantLife #PubLife #SportsBar #ShopLocal #PowellRiverStrong # See more

Every child matters. September 30th is a time to honour those children, now adults & elders, and their families; to remember those that didn't make it home from residential schools. It is a time to educate Canada on this history. We speak today to the resilience of the Indigenous peoples in our community and across Canada. We are still here. #sunshinecoastbc #powellriverbc #qathetbc #EveryChildMatters

Attention outdoor enthusiast, there are still spots open for more participants to join the BC Goes Wild event this Sunday! BC Goes Wild is a provincial wide, mo...nth long event to bring awareness to human-wildlife conflict and attractant issues in our communities. WildSafeBC is promoting ways we can live, work, play and grow in wildlife country. Sunday, September 27th between 10am-1pm our local WildSafeBC qathet Regional District Coordinator will be holding a Bear Spray Workshop with an Informative Nature Walk. Learn how to safely use bear spray and become knowledgeable about our local wildlife, safety tips and information on reducing our attractants. We will then head into the forest for a nature walk (approx 30mins), where we can identify how to spot signs of wildlife. Trivia and prizes throughout the event! This event has limited registration. To sign up, please contact [email protected] or reach out in Facebook messenger.
