Town of Tignish EMO COVID 19 Updates 15.12.2020

Effective at midnight tonight, PEI will be limiting all non-essential off-Island travel until at least December 7th 2020. This means anyone travelling or return...ing to PEI during this time will be required to self isolate for 14 days This is a decision that was not made lightly. This is a proactive measure to ensure we can continue to keep our kids in school, our businesses open and protect our health resources Life on our Island has been relatively normal compared to the rest of the country, and by taking this step while continuing to follow the advice of our Chief Public Health Office - we will get through this together Find more details about changes to travel restrictions here: https://bit.ly/BubbleSuspension

Town of Tignish EMO COVID 19 Updates 29.11.2020

It's the big day, June 1st! Our park is now open, mind you there is still social distancing protocols in place. If there seems to be a large number of people at... the park please refrain from entering and try another time! Although the park is sanitized three times a day, we encourage for guardians to bring disinfectant wipes if they feel the need to do some extra sanitizing. Please remember that the use of the park is at your own risk and to follow the protocols put in place by Dr. Morrison :) Enjoy! See more

Just a friendly reminder that our Tignish Bicentennial Park is CLOSED by order of the Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Heather Morrison. Disregarding the restrictions puts us all at risk and may delay the province’s ability to ease on restrictions.
