Residents of the 300 block of Maple Avenue will have no water for a short period of time later this morning.
The boil water advisory remains in effect until next week. We will update when the notice has been lifted.
Southwest Paving is in town effective today. They will be working to repave/repair portions of North Railway Street. Please watch for equipment and road blocks.
Digging has begun on Maple Avenue for the valve replacements. Please be careful in that area and remind your children not to play or explore in or around any of the equipment. Water will be shut off tomorrow Sept 24th for Maple, Elm and west end portions of Qu'Appelle Street.

Water valve replacements will be happening the week of Sept 21 to Sept 28th. Affected locations received water notices today on your doors. The School and Daycare are NOT affected. Please be mindful of the equipment when they are working on South Railway Mon and Tues and Maple Ave after that.

Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public that an individual who tested COVID-19 positive visited the following business in Whitewood when the individual was likely infectious on the following date: Whitewood Petro Canada gas station and convenience store Sept. 4 from 1 p.m. 1:30 p.m. Public Health officials are advising individuals who were at this location on the specified date during the specified time to immediately self-isolate if they have had or currently have symptoms of COVID-19 and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing. All other individuals who are not experiencing symptoms should self monitor for 14 days. It is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
Reminder to property owners to take advantage of the discounted rates if you pay your taxes on or before Sept 30th, 2020.
