The Town of Winterton Ambulance Service Inc. is seeking potential candidates to complete EMR Training for possible future employment with the Service. Qualifications of Candidates for EMR Training The Candidate must:... Complete Standard First Aid, CPR and AED training. Be 18 years of age or older. High School Education or equivalent. While on call must reside in Winterton. Must be able to successfully complete a Medical and Physical Assessment. Have Class 4 Driver’s Licence or be willing to acquire the licence after completing the course. Must be prepared to be on call for Emergency Call In, and to cover off Sick Days and Holidays as needed. Must be flexible with regard to hours of work. Must swear an Oath of Confidentiality. Must be able to work as a member of a two person crew. Must be willing to sign a two-year contract with the Town of Winterton Ambulance Service Inc. upon completion of Course. Must follow Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and or Standard Operational Guidelines (SOG) as set forth by the Town of Winterton Ambulance Service Inc., PMO and Eastern Health. Be available for hire on an On Call basis which may lead to a Full Time position.
