The town garbage cans have been taken in for the winter for some much needed repairs, but dog owners there is no need to worry. Dennis has been busy getting these buckets ready for you to be able to dispose of your dogs waste while out walking around the town.

Pleased be advised that as per Section 119(1)(b) Contractual Matters of the the Municipal Government Act Council will meet tomorrow evening November 19 for a closed session. Following the closed session Council and Planning Committee will meet at 7:30 pm in open session to discuss a rezoning application and Official Plan Amendment for PID #778936 being Melanda’s Wood camping and RV Park Limited. The purpose of the rezoning request is to amend the Official Plan Map from Res...idential to Commercial and to amend the Zoning and Development Bylaw as it pertains to this property from Residential (R1) Zone to the Highway Commercial (C2) Zone in order to expand the existing RV Park and campground. The purpose of the meeting is for Planning Committee and Council to determine if the application to rezone PID# 778936 will be forwarded to proceed to public consultation.

As a community we give thanks today and remember all who have served, are currently serving and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we can have our freedom. Although we can not all be together today at the Remembrance Day service. We encourage everyone to take a moment of silence at 11:00 am to remember.
