The hits keep coming for 2020! We got news last night that part of Rossdowns production line is shutdown and the workers are sent home because of covid cases. Bad news, is that they will not be able to produce and send out any fresh RWA small birds for the next two weeks. All of our fresh free range big turkeys are set aside and approved by CFIA. Rossdown is an amazing family and do so much for their community and workers. They were able to offer us certified organic small tu...rkeys at the same price as RWA. These are frozen right after production and have been frozen within the last 3 to 6 months. We have them in now and will have them thawed and ready to go for Christmas dinners. All orders that have been booked will still be filled and everyone will be taken care of. We will have a small amount left over at the end for other customers. We have the families picked out for turkeys this year but we have an additional helping hand. To those that have been hit really hard with covid regulations this year.... We are giving away two free chickens and a pack of boneless skinless breasts. If you are or know someone that is having a rough time financially right now please come down to our store at 10am tomorrow. Product information: If you are thinking of doing beef for Christmas, one thing to keep in mind is Prime rib prices. In the past two months AAA certified Angus prime rib has been steadily increasing like it normally does during this time of year. We have many options for AAA certified Angus inside round roasts, top sirloin, striploin and beef tenderloins as well. We will be selling the Prime rib at close to cost and will not be ordering a large amount for this year. Any that are already booked will be covered of course. We just wanted to give a heads up for how things are looking. For some reason, non of the other high end beef cuts went up much in cost but the Prime rib is through the roof. You may be able to get deals on regular AA or AAA prime rib at the grocery stores. Thank you.

We are bringing back our Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup! Perfect comfort food for this rainy weekend. They are not gluten free but, we have 3 Chicken and Vegetable soups available for you to add in your own noodles!

We just recieved some amazing cutting boards that would also make for beautiful charcutrie displays. April Gore is a local lady who has an incredible passion for wood working. These boards range from $195 to $285 and have a vass range of different woods used, from bloodwood to zebra wood. We have a $15 commission on each board and the rest goes towards the price of purchasing such exotic woods and to the local artist. Come on down and check them out.

This Wednesday for Remembrance Day we will be closed for the first half of the day out of respect for our fallen soldiers. Respect for those that died for our freedom, the ones that have been wounded physically, emotionally, and the families that have lost. Please, take the time, even with not being able to physically be present, to be emotionally present and respectful at 11am. We will be open from 1pm to 5pm Wednesday to help with any food needs.

We are starting to take Turkey and Ham bookings earlier this year. We sold out twice at Thanksgiving and wanted to give plenty of notice.
