Trail update: all Nordic trails were couderoy groomed. Game Changer and Shindig have a nice set of classic ski tracks set. Cold temps should make for great conditions. We will be back at grooming tomorrow! Don't forget to follow @KeppochTrailUpdates

With this morning's closure of Town Hall, equipment loan returns will not be able to happen as scheduled. We are asking those who have equipment out to return it tomorrow (Tuesday) morning between 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM at the Town Recreation office. If you already have equipment booked for a Tuesday pick-up, we will be in touch to schedule a new pick-up time. If you have submitted an equipment request and haven't heard back yet, we will not be able to confirm availability until the office has reopened.

Elizabeth and Sebastien from The People's Place: Antigonish Town and County Library are hosting a virtual puppet show on Friday, December 18 at 6 p.m. Join them for some Christmas stories and carolling to get you and your family in the holiday spirit! All the details for the online viewing are in the post below!

Due to public health restrictions from December 21st-January 10th, there will be no Family Skate Sundays on December 27th, January 3rd, or January 10th.

SANTA SHUFFLE CANCELLED We are sad to say that the weather is putting a damper on our plans this morning and the Santa Shuffle will be cancelled. We would like to encourage folks to continue with a donation to the food bank if it is within your ability to do so, and to check out some of the other active holiday and winter events going on such as storywalks, Sunday family skates throughout the winter, and the Solstice Hike at Keppoch on December 21st.

Registration closes this Friday for the Santa Shuffle walk/run/roll! (Event takes place on Sunday, December 13th!) A few notes about this year's event: - Location for start is the Antigonish Heritage Museum, 20 East Main Street.... - Distances are 3KM or 6KM. - Participants are encouraged to wear festive attire (i.e. elf hats, Santa costumes) to help raise the holiday spirit! Those who do will be entered to win a local gift card. - There is no fee to participate, however donations will be accepted for the Food Bank if you choose to bring one. - There will be 2 separate groups (10 AM start time and 10:45 AM start time) to help account for current Public Health regulations. Holiday Skate - Sunday, December 13th! Two time slots are available: 4:30-5:20 PM and 6:30 - 7:20 PM. Registration opens Monday, December 7th at noon.
