Due to COVID-19, the Town of Georgina will continue to accept 2019 and 2020 resident parking passes as a valid parking pass for the month of January 2021. After Jan. 31, a 2021 parking pass must be displayed on your dashboard while parked in areas where required by signage. Residents can obtain up to a maximum of four parking passes per household through the online parking pass application form. Parking passes can be used at Young’s Harbour, the parking lot at Rayners boat launch, North Gwillimbury Park, Willow Beach and De La Salle Park. To learn more, visit georgina.ca/ParkingPass.

To make waste and recycling pick up easy and efficient, residents are reminded of the following: Place items at the end of the driveway/curb so they are visible Do not place bins or garbage on top of or behind snow banks And a reminder don’t throw used latex gloves or masks on the ground after use. The meetings are about the first part of the plan which focuses on parks along the south shore of Lake Simcoe Willow Beach Park, Franklin Beach Conservation Area, De La Salle Beach Park, Jackson’s Point Harbour Marina, Malone Wharf and Bonnie Park, Holmes Point Park, and, Mossington Wharf and the Black River to Sutton. Planning a wedding this fall? The Town is now issuing marriage licences by appointment. You must complete a marriage licence application form and provide two pieces of identification from each person. Payment of the licence fee of $100 will be required over the phone. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, new protocols have been put in place for pickup at the Civic Centre. The Clerks Services Coordinator will provide all information once an appointment has been confirmed.
