The Cross Country Ski Trail is tracked and ready for skiers! There is a track at the Golf Course which begins in the fair grounds. A longer track is set on Brent Honeker’s farm west of town. To get to this trail travel west on 771 for 4 miles to Kennedy’s corner, then north 1 mile. The start of the trail is marked by 2 large evergreen trees. There is a 1.5 mile loop, or you can add the longer loop up the east side of the Bible Camp for some serious exercise. So dig out the skis and enjoy the fresh air - No Covid on the ski trail! For more information or to check on track conditions call or text Brent Honeker 306 372 7914 or Jean Halliday 306 372 4869.

Had a great night judging Christmas lights with my fellow council members, Krystal Bazylinski, Clarence Obrigewitch and Edie Gillies. My masked elves and I took some pics in front of our winners homes lol!!!

On behalf of the Luseland town council I’d like to thank everyone for the great Christmas decorations and light displays. The winners of this years annual deco...ration contest are as follows: 1st place tie to John and Sally Anderson and Matt Siwak and Kayla Constantinoff. 2nd place tie to Doug and Tammy Gilchrist and Gil and Linda Meyers. 3rd place tie to Shane & Alycia Gardeski and Brendan and Marita Obrigewitch. We’d also like to thank the Luseland Guiding family for the lovely wooden snowmen found along Main Street. They are a wonderful addition to the downtown lights and the memory tree on Main Street.
