Due to our zone being moved up to the Orange Phase, the Oromocto Fire Department will not be doing the Santa Food Bank Drive that usually takes place every year.... Unfortunately, this also means that Santa will not be able to drive around town. We encourage anyone that has donations for the Food Bank to drop them off on site at 101 D’Amours Street Oromocto, the phone number to reach them is (506) 357-3461. See more

NEW BRUNSWICK CHANGES TO ATLANTIC TRAVEL Effective November 27, 2020, unless exempt, travellers entering New Brunswick from Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island... or Newfoundland and Labrador are required to self-isolate for 14 days. This includes New Brunswick residents returning to NB from any of these provinces. They must also self-isolate for 14 days, unless exempt. Registration for cross-border travel into New Brunswick from Nova Scotia, PEI or Newfoundland and Labrador is now mandatory, like it is for anyone coming in from outside the Atlantic Bubble. Register your travel through www.gnb.ca/travelregistration. Failure to register can result in penalties. People with concerns about compliance with the State of Emergency can contact 1-844-462-8387. In order to slow the spread of COVID-19 public health guidance at the orange level has changed to allow a single household bubble. This bubble includes the peop...le that live in your house. Your single household bubble can be extended to a caregiver, an immediate family member or an individual in your life who requires support, including mental, social and emotional support. If you live alone and need mental health or other care support, a caregiver can be a formal or informal caregiver, such as a close friend or neighbour.
