Today's local business owner feature is on Jason and Jodi, owners of Ottawa Valley Deliveries! Here is their story: "Jason an I (Jodi) married in 2018, but have been together for 12 years now. Jason was raised and lived in Dacre, ON most of his life, later moving into town of Renfrew. I was born and raised in Carleton Place, ON but have been in Renfrew now for 32 years. We have 3 grown children and 3 of the most beautiful granddaughters. Family means everything to Jay and I.... Jason has worked many factory jobs that always lead to shift work and lay offs during slow times. I still work full time in Pembroke in logistics. I have always wanted to own my own business and in some way help people. Jay loves people, talking to people and shopping! Yes he loves to shop! Driving has always been enjoying to him as well. So we were VERY excited when this opportunity came along! As co owners, each of us do our own part of equally important responsibilities in running the business. I work behind the scenes doing customer service, social media, emailing, booking and coordinating all the deliveries. Jason is more hands on shopping for groceries/essential items and delivering them to clients it’s a perfect fit! Ottawa Valley Deliveries is a personal shopping and delivery service!
