Allowable size for private gatherings changed to 15. Effective at midnight on Thursday October 15th, the allowable gathering size for private gatherings in the home will be 15 people. "With the increasing rise in cases throughout Saskatchewan, linked to public and private social gatherings, Saskatchewan’s Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqib Shahab is amending the Public Health order on gathering sizes in private residences. As of Thursday night (12:01 am Friday, October ...16) the maximum allowable gathering size for private gatherings in the home will be 15." Even with increasing community transmission rates we still have the power to effect change, to flatten that curve, but it means all residents have to do their part to help keep their friends and family safe, Shahab said. For more information, please see the official "Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan" available on Saskatchewan.ca: https://www.saskatchewan.ca//201/re-open-saskatchewan-plan

SHAUNAVON BUSINESS VIDEO SERIES // JAE'S PHARMACY Jae’s Pharmacy has proudly served the community of Shaunavon and surrounding area since 2012. They pride themselves on providing high quality, patient focused pharmacy care. As someone who grew up locally, Jaelee Guenther - store operator and pharmacy manager - understands the unique challenges patients face in accessing health care services in a rural setting. Pharmacists are the most accessible and frequently visited membe...rs of the healthcare team, and due to Covid-19 you have relied on them more than ever before to ensure seamless access to medications and advice. They go beyond the dispensary to provide services within their full scope of practice. Not only do they have a team dedicated to ensuring your prescriptions are filled safely and accurately, but they offer several value-added services which can improve your health and access to medical care. Jae’s Pharmacy: 306-297-1333 // 335 Centre St. Shaunavon, SK Hours: Monday - Friday: 9am-6pm // Saturday: 9am-3pm 2020 INFLUENZA VACCINATIONS A note from Jaelee Guenther: "Publicly funded influenza vaccinations will be available starting October 19th. From October 19th to 23rd we will be doing flu shots at the Shaunavon Catholic Church Hall. Flu clinic hours will be posted in the Shaunavon Standard. We have robust cleaning and physical distancing measures in place to ensure your safety. You will be screened for symptoms of Covid 19 upon entry and will be asked to wear a mask while attending the clinic to ensure the safety of our staff and other attendees. Sanitizing stations will be available at entry and exit. Please remember to wear loose fitting clothing like a t-shirt, bring your SK health card, and be prepared to wait 15 minutes after your injection so that we can monitor you for a reaction. Please be reminded that we are only allocated a certain number of doses per day, so all injections done at the Catholic Church Hall will be done on a first come, first served basis. We will limit the number of attendees at the clinic to 15 at any given time, so you may be asked to wait in your car until space is available. We suggest that families with young children attend our clinic at the Church Hall as we will have more space to accommodate you. Please remember that pharmacists in Saskatchewan can only administer flu vaccine to adults and children over the age of 5." For more information on Jae’s Pharmacy 2020 publicly funded influenza vaccinations beginning on October 19th, please watch this video from Jaelee Guenther: https://youtu.be/i367N1ZS5OQ -------- Brought to you by The Town of Shaunavon / Shaunavon Economic Development If you'd like your local business to be featured in the Shaunavon Business Video Series, contact: [email protected] or visit: http://www.shaunavon.com/edc to download the application form. https://youtu.be/aa49CaVbwmk
