The fleet is on its’ way to Gore St. Antique Market on Friday.....vintage Japan tin: Ford Falcon, Ford Mustang, Cadillac and a 17 inch Fire Chief car! These buggies are friction powered with the exception of the battery operated Mustang, still working! They are not only fun, the lithography in the interior makes each one a work of art too. Drive one home today.....

UPDATE on Virtual Ontario Toy Show & Auction - August 29th. Plans are proceeding with the 2020 Virtual Toy Show to be held, starting at 10 am on Saturday, Augus...t 29, 2020. In addition to a live-stream broadcast on the Zoom meeting platform, participants will be able to engage with presenters of informative seminars and videos to be offered. (Check elsewhere on this FB page for the link to join). Dealer vendors are encouraged to prepare their virtual table items and create 5 minute video (or photos if you prefer) to share as a post on this Facebook page. Those wanting a virtual table are asked to register with Karyn Liddle to schedule a time. Displays are encouraged and as usual, awards will be presented at the conclusion of the event. Similar to above, please prepare a 5 minute video (or photos) and contact Karyn to schedule your upload time. We want to encourage participants to be engaged with dealers and seminar presenters at this event, so prizes will be offered selected randomly by computer from FB comments and shares throughout the show. Since the virtual format does not lend itself to a revenue stream we hope that our past sponsors will continue to support us and hopefully dealers will consider donating $10-$20 to help us defray expenses. The live online auction will be conducted by Jacobs Auction, starting at 1 pm. Check on Hi-Bid site or this FB page for the direct auction link to view catalogue and bid. We plan for this to be up about August 22nd. Consignments are welcomed until Aug 14th deadline. Please be clear in descriptions and provide high quality photos for advertising. Sheets have been sent out. Contact Karyn if you need one and to schedule a drop off of your consignments. As has been customary, Rotary appreciates any donated gift certificates or collector items that we sell as Lot 1, with 100% of proceeds going to our humanitarian aid projects. Auction payments will be handled when you register with Hi-Bid and purchasers will be notified following the event to schedule pickup or arrange for shipping.
