It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Carmen Bigras-Corbett, wife of John Corbett. Affectionately known as "She Who Must Be Obeyed". Carmen passed peacefully in hospital surrounded by Family. She had been battling Liver Cancer, and now she faces no more pain. John is doing OK. It is an emotional time. John has asked that we get the notice out to the military side of life. No Details have been decided. John is looking to have a Celebration of Life aft...er the Covid virus is controlled. John has asked that for 24 hours Expressions of Condolences can be made on the Pointsman and other Military sites. After 24 hours he will be open to emails and other ways of communication. Feb 15th 2021 Happy Family Day! February 15th, 1965 marks the raising of the Maple Leaf flag on Parliament Hill for the first time. 56 years later we proudly fly and wear our flag! Today is Canada Flag Day! Fly it proudly!

All With sadness I am passing this notice I just received from Col (Ret'd) Tony Battista of LCol Bernie Wrights's passing. Our condolence to Doreen and family. Ceremonies will be at Beechwood in the Spring and be Covid protocol driven so more to follow. Will send out the Obit when published.... Bernie and I go back to 1972, he was a good friend. A project that Dave was working on was the upgrading from the Pointsman coin to the Pointsman Shied (Pictured below), minus the word police, not to insult but to allow members to use the shield without any confusion and misunderstanding from the general public, and members could use Shield and Wallet with Pointsman Pride. To honour David we will use the Pointsman Shield from this time forward.

The Christmas Luncheon had a few brave souls attend, as always Good Food and some good stories. miss a few regulars who were under the weather...Russ Girden and Adam Saska. Becky, our normal waiter, wanted to wish "All My Guys A Very Merry Christmas and to Stay Safe so you can come back in the New Year." In attendance were Old Provost Dave Gibson and his daughter Lynn, Dave Pyke, Jack Collins (who had a full November with cataract and heart surgery), GREAT Grandpa Joe Peters and The Doctor.
