Hi everybody! We hope you are all well and have had a great summer. We are looking forward to our start-up, which is right around the corner. We have decided that we will continue to offer lessons online at this point, with the option to book one lesson a month in-person, at the studio, in our usual teaching environments. This would happen with the same type of precautions we all have been seeing in other businesses all summer. We miss you so much and we want to be able to b...e with you in person, but it has to be safe for all of us. There will be an email going out to all of you this weekend with all the specific information, so watch for that. The first week of lessons will be September 14th. We wanted you to have a chance to settle in to your new school routines this year, without the added pressure of your lessons. It seems more important than ever that you have those routines down pat! We’ll be in touch with all that info very soon!

Our digital recital that premiered on YouTube on Friday night was a definite hit! It was so wonderful knowing that so many of our students and their family members (some from very far away) were all watching it together at the same time, even though we could not physically be together. And for those who were unable to tune in on Friday, it is always available to watch any time on YouTube. This is one big benefit to doing things digitally -- we did not have anyone have to miss the recital! Some of our families shared their photos with us of them enjoying the recital together. And they also shared themselves wearing their year-end gift, which OF COURSE just had to be music-themed face masks and hand sanitizers! Stay safe out there this summer, friends! Happy Father’s Day to all our studio dads!

We are very excited to present the LIVE PREMIERE of our year-end recital, taking place on YouTube on Friday June 19th at 7:00 PM. (After the premiere, the video will be available for viewing at any time.) The video is a compilation of performances by all of us, recorded from our homes. It also includes our annual awards ceremony. And it even includes a very entertaining blooper reel, which was a compilation of some "oopsies" that happened while we were trying to get it just right! We are very proud of this presentation. Our students have continued right on with their learning and music-making through the pandemic, showing us their incredible resilience during such a difficult time.
