Our first recipes are ready and available in a free download. We focused on comfort foods to bring you some joy. These recipes are low-histamine, and include something from the different stages we'll be taking you through in the Histamine Haven Guide and Cookbook. Try them and let me know how you like them.

Salads don’t have to be complicated. Some vegetables taste better raw, and one of the best things about a salad is that there is no cooking time. You can literally create one in minutes. Start by opening your fridge and seeing what is in there. Choose 2 vegetables or a vegetable and a fresh herb or a vegetable and a nut or seed. Chop the ingredients and put into a bowl.... This salad is fennel bulb and parsley. Add your favourite dressing. I just added Himalayan sea salt and olive oil. Done! What kind of salad can you make tonight? Go open your fridge, have a look and let me know.

There is nothing better than good customer service when one of your kitchen essentials breaks down. I use my Instant Pot every day - many times more than once a day. It is a vital part of maintaining my low histamine diet. Last week mine malfunctioned. I was sent a new one in less than a week.... Happy in the kitchen!!!

Cacao butter makes a great bark among other things. Slightly chocolatey - it is also low in histamine. In my household we go through insane amounts of this delicious saturated fat. My husband adds it to hot chocolate to make it rich and creamy. I like to add it to elixirs. My kids like the barks and fat bombs.... Have you tried it? What recipes do you use it in?
