We all heard the announcements yesterday for the stay at home order for Ontario. What does that mean for the Kingston market? Well not too much but we need to proceed as cautiously as possible.... -Health disclosures forms continued to be signed by Buyers and Sellers -masks worn at all times -gloves supplied at my listings and to my buyers -open houses still on hold -scheduled in person showings (limited people) are permitted but should only be done when necessary -continued use of video/virtual tours, video conference calls, floor plans and electronic signatures When we shut down in March I stopped when I could but when we had situations when some clients had to move and at their request I would preview the homes with a video call to avoid unnecessary visits. Also closets and some cupboard doors were open, lights on and stayed on and we touched very little so that will continue. If you need to sell and buy that is okay. Real Estate is still essential.
