Effective today (November 19, 2020), new orders and restrictions were announced by the PHO, including orders about mask use. this means that masks must be worn both by RMTs and patients, including in the treatment room (even during treatment), unless either or both is physically unable to wear a mask (a medical note or other similar proof is not required and cannot be demanded). Good morning :) I just want to give you an update. I hope that you and your families are healthy and well! While local businesses and other health practitioners will be re-opening, and changing their protocols today, I alm not quite ready to return and plan to keep closed for a while longer. There have been many changes in procedures and saftey protocols in which I need to familiarize myself with as well as prepare for on your return in a safe manner. I have been doing lots... of research, following WCB, Our Provincial Health Officer, and my regulating bodies recommendations as well as I have a few online courses lined up to help me feel comfortable and confident upon your return. I thank you all for your patience. Your words of encouragement and general positive attitude during these crazy times are appreciated more than you can know- we are all in this together! To all my Clients clients eager for treatment to resume... Please know that although we’ve been given an estimated return time, I am still waiting for guidelines from the PHO and my governing college as to ensure the safety of my patients and myself. I will let you know ASAP when I am resuming bookings and which direction I will be taken from that point on Missing you all!

Incase you missed it this week..Dr Bonnie shared how things will look when We (RMTs) are able to return to work....some changes wont effect Me here at Cinnabar Massage Therapy but some will. When they decide we may return to work the changes will be in place and some of those will be for me to wear a Mask, staggering of clients and cleaning in between each client to ensure everyones saftey. Now we wait and see when "Phase 2" rolls out. I hope you are all keeping well and healthy

Following the advice of Dr. Bonnie Henry, we (RMTS) are mandated by our regulatory board CMTBC to continue with the closure of our practices. I am unsure when we will be able to return to work, but I will be continuing to watch the recommendations and make the best decisions for my clients as needed. I would like to send out all my love and appreciation for all you out there putting it on the line <3 ... May you all be happy and healthy 'as this too shall pass!'
